The IQPC Process Excellence Network is a global community for process professionals, business leaders, and executives seeking to enhance their businesses through process and operational excellence.
Best Start-up Business Process Excellence Program (Under 2 years). This award celebrates the achievements of new Business Process Excellence programs of up to 2 years in deployment – covering Lean, Six Sigma & Business Process Management (BPM). Entrants were judged on their abilities in direction setting, delivering business benefits, and initial culture change.
International Facility Management Association (IFAM) Sheila Sheridan Award for Sustainable Design

The award recognizes the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory Facilities Division’s “total program approach” to institutional sustainability, encompassing new building construction, sustainable operations and maintenance practices, collaboration with surrounding communities, and active involvement in educating similar National Laboratories.

The CapStar award is an annual award that recognizes organizations for the innovative application of software technology and/or business processes to support capital planning and management
The award, presented by VFA, recognizes the Lab’s outstanding use of VFA’s Capital Assets Management System, beating out over 400 other companies. The Facilities Division is using the software to identify best opportunities for meeting the sustainability requirements of Executive Order 13425 while aligning major maintenance and renewal planning with the Office of Science’s Mission Readiness program
